Everyone knows Juicy M, ever since, in 2013, she released her first mixing video, recording on 4 CDJs. In the same year, she released her first bootleg on Major Lazer’s ‘Bumaye’.
Back in 2007, she started playing hip hop on real vinyls, with DJs Snake, Sub Zero and Cut Killer. You can clearly hear hip hop influences in her sets now, this strictly-dance maximum-energy live-mashuping half- track mixing. It’s something she brought to the scene… You can hate it or love it, but you’ll never stay indifferent.
Her main challenge, in the Era of electronic dance music, is music production. She managed to open her own record label – JUMMP Records. Juicy M did a few collaboration tracks with young producers like her.
JUMMP Records became a starting platform for young talents like Angemi, JuicyTraxx, JapaRoll, among others. Luckily, it helped Juicy M to get noticed by Armada Music, with whom she signed a worldwide deal. The first track, called ‘Skies’, featuring awesome vocals from ENDEMIX, is set to release, in late 2015.
